Busy Bees (Parent and Toddler Group)

Play, play and play is our aim along with meeting other Mums, Dads, Grannies & children.  We meet every Monday in term time in St. Mary's Church & Hall from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. for pre-school children.

There is no cost for your first visit, then after that a £1.00 per family covers refreshments for the children (juice & fruit and sometimes cake when we celebrate a birthday) & adults. We also have a craft table every other week and many toys to enjoy. 

We are a very friendly group which gives the children opportunities to socialise and grow in confidence while parents benefit from some adult company in a relaxed environment. We have avariety of toys, including Duplo, play dough, drawing and sticking, and larger toys such as bikes, climbing frame and slide.

Kidzone & Minizone at St Mary's Church:

Kidzone  

Kidzone is for those aged 5-10.  It takes place during the 5pm service at St Mary's Church on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.  Children start with their families in the main service for the first 10 or 15 minutes before Kidzone starts in another part of the building.  The children return to the service in time to join their families for communion and a prayer of blessing.

Minizone 

Minizone is for those under 5 years of age.  It takes place during the 5pm service at St Mary's church each week.  Children start with their families in the main service for the first 10 or 15 minutes before Kidzone starts in another part of the building.  The children return to the service in time to join their families for communion and a prayer of blessing.

At Saints Alive services (all age) Minizone runs for a shorter time while the reading and talk take place in the main service. 

Kidzone at St Michael's Church

Kidzone at St Michael's Church runs during the 10am service on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month.  Children start with their families in the main service for the first 10 minutes before Kidzone goes across to Church House which is just behind the church.  The children return to the service in time to join their families for communion and a prayer of blessing.
